About Tanya

Tanya Hefets, MS, CCC-SLP, is a passionate, innovative speech pathologist who loves enriching the lives of children. She is all about celebrating each child's strengths while encouraging a love of exploration and discovery – how learning should always be. Tanya is well-known for developing language-infused enrichment programs that have been adopted and successfully implemented by many schools in the New York City area. Tanya regularly provides comprehensive training for speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and parents who wish to celebrate creative, dynamic instruction at its finest.

Tanya creates an individualized learning plan for each student based on strengths and areas to improve upon. In the past 20 years, Tanya has worked with over 200 students. With her clinical expertise, she has developed a research and evidence-based approach to achieve the most significant progress in the least amount of time. Tanya teaches students HOW to learn, stay engaged while learning, and ultimately,
